Okay Maryland, listen.

It’s a very important day today — it’s my heart, my soul, my everything’s birthday. I am so blessed that I have had the chance to be married to Dawn for 17 years and counting. She is truly my best friend.

The day she said yes was the day that things changed forever. We eloped in 2007 in Las Vegas while I was on leave from service in Afghanistan. It was one of the best days of my life.

Since then, Dawn has stood by my side through thick and thin. So today, John, I need a huge favor from you. (She doesn’t know I’m doing this.)

We’ve got to do something very special for her today, so I’m trying to get as many people as possible to wish her a happy birthday.
