AIPAC spent over $23 million to defeat Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush solely because of their calls for a Ceasefire to save Palestinian lives. Jamaal and Cori dared to call out Netanyahu’s atrocities and push for an end to unlimited U.S. funding for atrocities in Gaza, so AIPAC recruited primary challengers and spent record amounts to defeat them. Ilhan Omar is AIPAC’s next target, and her primary is coming up on Tuesday — just five days away.

Like Bernie said, once a candidate speaks out for the dignity of the Palestinian people, they end up on AIPAC’s “hitlist.” That’s what Ilhan is facing RIGHT NOW. And it’s why Bernie was just in Minneapolis to rally voters for Ilhan ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
AIPAC sought to recruit a challenger for Ilhan, all while saying that Ilhan’s calls for an end to Israel’s bombing of Gaza amounted to “giving Hamas a lifeline.” Then, her challenger called Ilhan a “pawn for Hamas.” It’s absolutely disgusting, and shows how the right-wing pro-Israel lobby has targeted anyone calling for a Ceasefire.
It’s these kinds of disgusting, baseless, racist attacks that AIPAC deals in as they try to unseat progressives critical of Netanyahu’s atrocities against the Palestinian people. In order for Ilhan to win, we MUST pitch in to help her.
