Hi John,

You may have heard in the news recently that folks across Navajo Nation are standing up against the transportation of uranium ore on tribal lands. I fully support the pause on uranium ore shipments currently in effect — for too long, our tribal communities in rural Arizona have suffered from the legacy of radioactive contamination, from a uranium mining industry unable or unwilling to properly clean up their messes and dispose of their toxic waste.

This is just one of many issues that demonstrates the need for clear leadership from our elected officials — but Representative Eli Crane is nowhere to be found. Instead, he’s spreading preposterous conspiracy theories on social media under the guise of “just asking questions.” It’s time to turn the page on his disastrous tenure in office, and that’s why it has been so encouraging to see folks from across our district stand up to support my campaign for Congress. Can you chip in today to help us keep up our momentum? [link removed]

Our district needs someone who puts rural Arizona first, rather than their podcasting career. I’ve spent my life in service to our communities, fighting for our rights and access to the basic essentials: clean drinking water, electricity, broadband internet and so much more. I'm honored to have your support, and I hope you'll join our movement with a contribution today. [link removed]

Thanks so much,

Jonathan Nez
