[ [link removed] ]Brendan and Jon going over fundraising numbers
   Hey John—it’s
Brendan, Finance Director on Jon Tester’s campaign. This is tough to say,
but I need to rip off the bandaid.
I just looked at our fundraising numbers—and we’re not anywhere near where
we need to be for August. Ouch.
The last thing I want is to tell Jon we have to make massive budget cuts
   to keep the lights on.
This is bad news. Our Senate race is the only one where Republicans are
outspending Democrats—and FiveThirtyEight says this race could decide the
   Senate majority.
So we have two options (well, three):
    1. Either we need more grassroots supporters to step up before our
       deadline expires (especially
       first-time donors like you)
    2. Or we need folks to chip in slightly larger gifts than usual
    3. …or we fall short, let outside groups keep attacking Jon, and lose
       this race.
It’s gonna be tough, but there’s still time to catch up,
   John. Grassroots supporters
like you have always stepped up when we need it the most. If we all do
everything we can to help Jon right now, I know we can break the tie in
the polls and win this race.

In the Senate, Jon takes his cues from the rural communities, veterans,
and working families that elected him—not special interests or super PACs.
That’s why we’re counting on you to help reelect Jon and keep him fighting
for rural communities in the Senate. [ [link removed] ]Click here to chip in and fuel our
