John, on Tuesday Mary Gay (and me – lucky!) had the opportunity to attend the first-ever Harris/Walz campaign rally right here in Philadelphia. And let me tell you — that room was absolutely electric.
The Harris/Walz ticket embodies hope, the future, and history in the making. They’re both authentic, hard-working, fearless public servants who will never back down from doing what’s best for our people and our country and you can tell the crowd was FEELING IT.
This ticket gives us something to fight FOR — not just something to fight against. And this rally, this momentum, this excitement shows just how ready the people are to believe in something. From the Trump presidency to President Biden pulling us and our economy out of the pandemic we have had a hard time thinking about the future for nearly a decade now. It’s time for change, and we are ready.
