What you can do to protect nature and make an impact
Hi John, do you want to Bee a Hero this summer?
We recently created a free email series all about nature’s superhero: the small yet mighty bee. These unsung heroes are vital to our ecosystems, pollinating some of our favourite foods and the vast majority of our wildflowers [1].

But in recent years bees have faced huge threats – from the loss of natural habitats to the use of harmful pesticides. In the past decade alone, a third of bees in the UK have disappeared [2].
This worrying decline is made worse by the fact that for several years, our government has approved the so-called ‘emergency’ use of bee-killing chemicals called neonicotinoids. They are a huge threat to pollinators – and by extension, to us and our food security.

The good news? You can help protect our flying friends! There are so many things we can all do to help bees thrive. By signing up to our free Bee Hero course, you’ll learn all about our tiny allies and how we can support them: [link removed]
You’ve told us before that bees are important to you, so I want to make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about these brilliant little creatures.
Thanks for everything you do to protect nature,
