After three grueling elections in one year, Israel has formed a new government. Earlier this week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former political rival, Blue and White’s Benny Gantz, agreed to form a national unity government in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Under the new agreement, Netanyahu will serve as Prime Minister for 18 months, after which time he will be succeeded by Gantz, who, in the meantime, will serve as Israel’s Defense Minister. Will it last? What will be on the new government’s policy agenda and how are Israelis responding? Joining us to answer these questions and more will be David Horovitz, Founding Editor of The Times of Israel.

This AJC Advocacy Anywhere opportunity will be recorded for playback.
