I got into politics to fight for the issues that matter most to everyday families, like access to quality, affordable health care, good-paying jobs, protecting the right to vote, and building an economy that works for everyone.

But it’s clear Republicans like Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and my opponent Jason Lewis have a very different set of values. They refuse to take this pandemic seriously, and in doing so, have put countless lives at risk.

Trump has fumbled any sort of federal response — instead focusing on his late-night tweetstorms and chaotic evening briefings. McConnell says states should go bankrupt rather than get further federal help through this crisis.

That’s not all. My opponent made the dangerous decision to resume in-person campaign events and has called for Minnesota to prematurely reopen — ignoring health officials’ warnings and endangering the lives of our health care professionals, first responders, seniors, and countless others.

I’m determined to keep Minnesota away from the GOP’s dangerous grasp. But if I’m honest, we have a very tough fight ahead of us. Republicans will do whatever it takes to flip Minnesota red and defeat me to hold onto their majority in Washington, so I’m asking for your help today:
