Kamala Harris 'One of the Most Catastrophic Failures in American History': Congressman |
by Ben Johnson |
Efforts by Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris to back away from her role in America's open border crisis have failed, as congressional inquiries have demanded she produce documents showing "what, if any" steps she took to stop the flow of illegal immigrants, drugs, and cartels into the U.S. heartland. The House Oversight and Accountability Committee launched an investigation Tuesday into "Vice President Harris's role in effectuating the worst border crisis in American history." |

'Squad' Member Cori Bush Loses Primary Bid amid Sustained Anti-Israel Rhetoric |
by Dan Hart |
In a further setback for the far-left flank of the Democratic Party, "Squad" member Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) lost her House primary bid on Tuesday to St. Louis County prosecuting attorney Wesley Bell. Experts say the loss is a further sign that Democratic voters are not comfortable with the anti-Israel views being espoused by a number of Democratic lawmakers, and may spell trouble for the far-left presidential ticket of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in November. |

After Iraq Attack on U.S. Troops, 'We Ought to Send a Signal Loud and Clear Immediately' |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
It had been four months since U.S. troops were targeted in Iraq and Syria, but a pair of rockets screaming toward the sprawling Al Asad Air Base changed that Monday. Five servicemembers and two contractors were injured in the explosion, including a pair who were airlifted for urgent care. While the Defense Department insists the victims are all in stable condition, top military officials warn that this is a "dangerous escalation" in tensions threatening to spill over into an all-out war. |

The Last Walz: Have Democrats Given Up on the White House? |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Several weeks ago, it seemed as though Democrats were going to have to resign themselves to being ousted from the White House. President Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance exposed his clear cognitive decline to the whole world, resulting in a growing uneasiness among Democrats about keeping the 81-year-old at the top of the ballot. Then former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt at one of his campaign rallies, and there seemed to be no conceivable way that the geriatric who struggles to climb a flight of stairs could possibly stand a chance against the man who took a bullet to the head and still pushed his security detail aside to urge his countrymen to fight for their nation. |

Is 'Woke Religion' an 'Extreme Form of Christianity'? |
by Joshua Arnold |
In a recent interview, eccentric billionaire Peter Thiel made comments about the nature of wokeness and Christianity that are likely to provoke nearly every hearer. Before dismissing the method, remember that even the unsightliest strip mine can uncover a rich vein of ore. At the very least, Thiel's suggestion should provoke us to think. |

Biden-Harris Admin's Defense of Debanking Shows the 'Politicization' of the Industry: Expert |
by Sarah Holliday |
Apparently, the Biden-Harris administration's Treasury Department has a problem with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's (R) decision to push back against banking discrimination. On Wednesday, DeSantis signed HB 989, which makes it "unsafe and unsound" for banks to take politics, religious, or environmental, social, and governance (ESG) into account when doing business with customers. In other words, the governor is trying to stop the involuntary cancelation of bank accounts, largely targeting conservatives. The "anti-woke" Florida law, however, has come under scrutiny from the Treasury Department. |

What Is Most Important to J.D. Vance, According to Usha Vance? |
by Kathy Athearn |
For those who care deeply about faith, family, and freedom, it's important to know where presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates stand on public policies that particularly impact families - such as the child tax credit, parental rights, school choice, religious freedom, and the sanctity of human life. Usha Vance, wife of Republican vice presidential candidate and Senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), has brought attention in recent weeks to the fact that family is of utmost importance to her husband. |
