Trump on Democrat Ticket: “This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately”
Townhall: In an interview this week, former President Donald Trump said that Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will make the country “communist immediately” if they are elected ( Townhall). End Wokeness: Governor Tim Walz: NO RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH if the government decides it is misinformation or hateful. This man is a dangerous commie ( X). Elon Musk: Kamala is quite literally a communist. She wants not merely equal opportunity, but equal outcomes ( X).

Biden States He is “Not Confident” There Will Be a Peaceful Transition of Power if Trump Loses Election
NBC: President Joe Biden said in a new interview that he is “not confident at all” that there will be a peaceful transfer of power in January if former President Donald Trump loses the election this fall. “If Trump loses, I’m not confident at all,” Biden said when asked during an interview with CBS News if he was confident that power would be peacefully transferred in January 2025. Biden also said in the clip that aired Wednesday evening that people were not taking Trump’s past comments about a “bloodbath” seriously ( NBC). Brandon Tatum: Joe Biden just said if Trump wins he’s not confident there will be a peaceful transfer of power before correcting himself. Possibly the biggest Freudian slip you’ll see this year ( X).

Ousted Squad Member Cori Bush: "AIPAC, I'm coming to tear your kingdom down"
Washington Examiner: Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) vowed retribution on the pro-Israel group that helped block her from a third term in the House over her pro-Palestinian views. In a fiery concession speech Tuesday night, Bush said her loss to St. Louis District Attorney Wesley Bell had only taken “some of the strings off” and that she would spend her time outside of office campaigning against the interests that had opposed her. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, through its affiliated super PAC, spent almost $9 million in the Democratic primary supporting Bell ( Washington Examiner). Reporter Mark Maxwell: Cori Bush defiant in defeat: “All they did was radicalize me, so now they need to be afraid.” “They about to see this other Cori, this other side,” she said. “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down” ( X).

UK to Remove Posts From Social Media the Government Deems as “Disinformation”
Financial Times: British officials have faced resistance from X over calls to take down posts that are deemed a threat to national security, as Elon Musk launched a series of jibes on the site about the UK and Sir Keir Starmer. The UK government’s disinformation unit has been compiling examples of posts on the platform its believes are spreading disinformation and inciting violence since the outbreak of clashes across the UK last week. The unit — the National Security Online Information Team — alerted social media groups to what they saw as concerning content. Though several companies such as Google, Meta and TikTok have been quick to respond by scrutinizing and removing flagged posts, X has been less responsive and has kept concerning content up ( Financial Times). End Wokeness: UK authorities will round up and charge citizens who RETWEET any material deemed as “inciting hatred” ( X). Libs of TikTok: The UK wants to arrest people for RETWEETING content they don’t like. RIP UK ( X).

Hamas Taps October 7 Mastermind as New Political Leader
Times of Israel: Hamas officially announces that Yahya Sinwar will be the terror group’s new politburo chief, its highest-ranking figure, following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week. Sinwar, who is Hamas’s leader in Gaza, is widely considered the architect of the October 7 invasion and massacre in southern Israel, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage, sparking the ongoing war in Gaza. Hamas avowedly seeks to destroy Israel ( Times of Israel). CNN: The move consolidates Hamas under Sinwar, one of the group’s most powerful figures. Sinwar is seen as a hardliner and his appointment casts further uncertainty over truce talks already rattled by Haniyeh’s assassination… In response to Sinwar’s selection, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari told the Saudi network Al Arabiya, “There’s only one place we are designating for Yahya Sinwar, and that’s right next to Mohammed Deif and all the other terrorists who are responsible for October 7 attacks. It’s the only place we are preparing and designating for him” ( CNN). Katie Pavlich: Yahya Sinwar is a terrorist responsible for the murder of thousands, in addition to hostage taking of babies and toddlers. POLITICO publishing this about him today as if he’s some normal dude getting a promotion in a “militant group.” Shameful ( X).

Democrats Question JD Vance’s Military Service
HotAir: Democrats don’t lie to convince people of false things; they do it to plant ideas, repeat them again and again, and leave an impression that sticks even if the facts do not. Sort of an “if there is smoke, there’s fire” strategy. They generate a lot of smoke, and even if people don’t believe any one fact, the totality of the accusations stains the conservative… They are trying to do the same thing with J.D. Vance’s military record because Tim Walz is a chickenhawk veteran, and they are pounding the idea that he is a war hero who served his country while Trump and J.D. Vance are wimpy cowards ( HotAir). Stephen Miller: If you want to see network media at work, here’s Andrea Mitchell, a paid journalist, someone whose job it is to inform guests and audiences, unsure of Vance’s service and station in Iraq. Just stunning ignorance and should be nowhere near a broadcast desk ( X). Trump War Room: Top Harris surrogate Senator Tina Smith: I’m not aware of any military service that JD Vance has ever served. (JD Vance served in the U.S. Marine Corps and deployed to Iraq) ( X).

Russia Describes Ukraine Attacking Kursk as a “Provocation”
Washington Post: Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Wednesday that Ukrainian forces had crossed the border into the Kursk region of western Russia and carried out an attack, describing the operation as a large-scale “provocation.” “The Kyiv regime has launched another major provocation,” Putin told members of the Russian government at a meeting, claiming that Ukraine was “firing indiscriminately” using various types of weapons, including rockets, “at civilian buildings, residential houses, ambulances.” Putin’s statement followed a Russian Defense Ministry announcement late Tuesday night that up to “300 Ukrainian militants” launched a cross-border attack on Tuesday morning and had entered Russian territory along with “11 tanks and more than 200 armored vehicles” ( Washington Post). Guardian: The attack is most likely to be an attempt by Ukraine, whose defenses are stretched on the eastern Donbas front, to divert some Russian forces to defend a part of the frontline that has been largely inactive since early 2022…Russia has been pouring soldiers into Ukraine. Its force in the country is estimated at about 520,000, two to three times the size of the original invasion ( Guardian).

Turkish Female Boxer Loses Semi-Final Match to Trans Fighter
Fox News: Taiwanese Olympic boxer Lin Yu-ting defeated Turkish fighter Esra Yildiz Kahraman via unanimous decision in their semifinal bout in the 57-kilogram division on Wednesday night at the Paris Olympics. Lin moved to the gold medal fight and Yildiz will take home a bronze as there are no bronze-medal bouts in Olympic boxing… As officials announced Lin was the winner, Yildiz appeared to make a double “X” with her fingers, appearing to signal that she was a woman with XX chromosomes ( Fox News). FairPlayForWomen: Another woman loses her Olympic dream. Another protest. Enough is enough ( X). Riley Gaines: Another woman loses to a male at the Olympics, another woman protesting with a powerful “XX” display. Everyone knows these boxers are male ( X).

NIH Invested Millions Into Researching the “Benefits” of Puberty Blockers on Children
Just the News: The National Institutes of Health faces scrutiny for hiring Catherine Gordon as clinical director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development without noting she’s a crusader for puberty blockers and had several pre-hire conversations with Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine, who pressured WPATH to remove its proposed age restrictions ( Just the News). Townhall: A federally funded research project is actively recruiting “transgender” children to study the “mental health benefits” of puberty blockers, as part of a nationwide push to reshape public policy on pediatric “gender care.” Three major U.S. children’s hospitals, which all house gender clinics, are co-conducting this clinical study: Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio; Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois; and Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Since 2021, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), an agency of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has pumped over $3 million into the multi-site, longitudinal study, which was recently renewed for the 2024 fiscal year ( Townhall).

Planned Parenthood in Manhattan Puts Limit on Abortion
New York Times: Planned Parenthood announced this week that its only Manhattan clinic would stop performing abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, a significant shift in a state that has maintained and even expanded access to abortion in the two years since the Supreme Court eliminated the constitutional right to the procedure. The clinic, Planned Parenthood’s Manhattan Health Center, can no longer afford the “deep sedation” required to perform abortions beyond the 20-week mark, Wendy Stark, the president of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, said in an interview. The move was the latest sign of financial struggles for Planned Parenthood’s New York chapter, which also plans to close four clinics around the state, including its sole clinic on Staten Island, Ms. Stark said. The chapter has already instituted executive pay cuts and consolidated job functions ( New York Times). HotAir: It’s a pretty good sign if you’re a baby who would otherwise be dismembered. After all, babies born at 24 weeks have a good chance at surviving and that chance goes up to 90+% by 28 weeks. This isn’t tissue (or whatever euphemism PP would prefer to use) these are fully formed babies. And by PP’s own estimate, the number of abortions after 20 weeks is pretty small, around 2% of the 10,000 or so abortions performed every month in New York. According to PP’s president, the solution to this problem is, you guessed it, more public money ( HotAir).
