Welcome (back) to the Santa Barbara DSA mailing list! Our chapter is going to be using Action Network from now on to send out messages and event invitations instead of Google Groups. There are quite a few old contacts in our Action Network group, if you've moved out of Santa Barbara and/or are not interested in receiving mail from us, feel free to unsubscribe.

This Saturday, Wendy Santamaria, whom we have endorsed for District 1 of the Santa Barbara City Council in this November's election, will be having her first official canvass. A group of us will be meeting at Old Coast Park at 10:30 AM, after which we will go knock doors on the Eastside. We want the biggest turn out possible, so it would be awesome if everyone could come!
