John, have you noticed how those new Oreo Thins are replacing Double Stuff Oreos on grocery store shelves at the same price?
That is shrinkflation, a shady business practice where corporations shrink product sizes and charge more for less. Now I don’t know about you, but when I spend $7 on a package of Oreos, I don’t want the thin ones.
Shrinkflation hits where it hurts the most, in our wallets and at our kitchen tables. I see it every time I go shopping at the grocery store by my house. That is why I’m a co-sponsor of the Shrinkflation Prevention Act of 2024.
While Republicans are taking the side of corporations, I’m fighting for ordinary people like us who are sick and tired of corporations making record profits at our expense.
Can I please count on you to chip in $7 (the cost of a box of Double Stuff Oreos) to help send me back to Washington so I can keep fighting to lower costs for working families? »
