A new poll shows super-majority support for Medicare for All among swing state voters, with 63 percent of them indicating they’re more likely to vote for a candidate who supports “Establishing a Medicare for all single-payer healthcare system guaranteeing healthcare to all Americans.”
The poll, conducted by Data for Progress and highlighted by U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders in a recent op-ed for The Guardian, emphasizes that progressive positions like Medicare for All are overwhelmingly popular, even to swing state voters in key electoral battlegrounds!
Right now, we’re conducting our own survey that we believe will further show the nationwide popularity of Medicare for All and encourage more political candidates to support it.
We’re currently 66 survey responses away from our goal of 1,000, and the deadline is quickly approaching this Sunday, August 11th!
The more data and stories we collect from everyday people across the country about our broken health care system and our demand for something better, the sooner we can build the political will necessary to make Medicare for All a reality.
In solidarity,
Nurses’ Campaign to Win Medicare for All
