Friend — with my community and Congressional experience, my mission to put Floridians first, and a grassroots-fueled campaign that brand new polling shows just TWO points behind my opponent, I know I've got what it takes to flip Florida blue.
But aside from an abysmal approval rating or a massive fortune, there's still one thing Rick Scott has that I don't: name recognition.
Getting my message out on the TV and radio airwaves is the best way to fix that — but with Florida's insanely expensive ad market, I can't afford to keep them on the air without support from this grassroots team. Will you please help me spread the word about our movement to retire Rick Scott and flip Florida blue by chipping in now?
Look, visibility doesn't come cheap in Florida — that's why Rick Scott had to drop $64 MILLION of his own fortune to secure his 10,033-vote victory in 2018.
But what really worries me is the fact that he's spending $700,000 on TV, radio, and streaming services ads, both in English and Spanish ... every. single. week. And he just ramped up with over $1 million in new spending. That's over $15.3 MILLION just to air lies about me from now until November 5.
I'll only withstand his self-funded, bilingual ad blitz by reserving slots now, so I can't really afford to miss a single fundraising goal.
But at the rate donations are trickling in, I'm projected to fall 8% short of where I need to be at this point in the month. And if we can't close the gap, it may cost us Florida's race, our blue majority, and abortion rights across the nation.
So I'm personally asking you, friend — will you please give $5, $10, or anything to help me get my ads on the air and grow my movement to flip Florida and keep the Senate blue?

Please use the links in this email to start a weekly donation through ActBlue.

Thank you — I can't do this without you,
