John,

One of the biggest wins of the Biden/Harris Administration has been to finally focus on farming and agriculture as a key to solving the climate crisis.

But the GOP’s Project 2025 plan could put that all at risk. It threatens to downsize the Department of Agriculture and overturn the investments we have made to allow farmers to become a part of the climate solution.

We have to fight back now. Will you rush in a donation to help us defeat Project 2025? [[link removed]]

DEFEAT PROJECT 2025 » [[link removed]]Here’s what you need to know about how Project 2025 would impact our agriculture:

*
It
would
dramatically
increase
logging
and
lead
to
more
deforestation.
*
It
would
end
federal
conservation
programs
for
farmers,
including
a
program
from
1985
which
pays
farmers
while
they
allow
their
land
to
recover.
*
It
would
establish
work
requirements
for
food
and
nutrition
assistance
and
provide
fewer
school
meals
for
children.
*
And
it
would
eliminate
a
network
of
farm
subsidies
that
have
backstopped
the
agricultural
industry
since
the
New
Deal.
