Friends -- I know we’re all going through a tough moment. These events have rattled the very foundation of our culture, from going to the movies or watching the Hawkeyes to meeting with friends or hugging our loved ones.

Right now, it’s time for unity. It’s time to shift our focus from politics and division. We’re strong together, working as a community, as a state, and a country to end this crisis.

But there’s a super PAC in Washington that doesn't care about unity -- they care about advancing their agenda.

And they’re not backing off now. In fact, just the other week they announced plans to spend nearly $4 million on TV ads to flip Iowa.

That’s why we’re combining forces with every Democratic House campaign in Iowa to counter the efforts of these bad-actors on a state-wide scale. I wouldn’t ask unless it were urgent, but can you chip in $5 or $10 to our mutual defense?

This super PAC thinks it can buy our seats, and they know that this kind of cash infusion into our state could have a major impact in November.

But what they haven’t taken into account is our strength:

Democrats in Iowa -- and around the country -- are united in our fight for a fairer country, a more caring country, and a country that has the leadership to look after it’s people -- not just it’s donors.
