Stewardship Utah is here to protect the land, air, and water for all people in Utah through elections, policy, and democracy. 

Stewardship Utah is here to support environmentally-minded candidates running for office. 

Stewardship Utah is here to ensure every Utahn has a voice and the ability to vote. 

Stewardship Utah is here to protect the places we love and make Utah a healthier and more just place to live, from Southern Utah to the Wasatch Front. 

Meet the Stewardship Utah Team

The Stewardship Utah team brings together the Rural Utah Project and O₂ Utah teams, a passionate group of activists and outdoor enthusiasts working to improve environmental and democratic outcomes. 

We live, work, and play in the places we want to protect from San Juan County and the Navajo Nation to the Wasatch Front.

Join us for a pint night on Tuesday, August 20, at Saltfire Brewing from 5 to 7:30 PM, to meet our team in person and learn more about the Stewardship Utah mission! The first 20 guests will get a free beer.

Can't join us at Saltfire? Join us for a Summer Send-off at the 11th Ave Park on Thursday, August 29th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM! Our Executive Director's will be grilling up some hotdogs, vegan-friendly burgers, and more. This is a family-friendly event, though we request that you bring your own camp chair.

How can you be a Utah Steward?

You’re here, and that’s a great start! Whether you’re passionate about public lands, clean air and water, voting rights, fair representation, or all of the above, joining a grassroots organization and being an active citizen is critical.
