I just got the upload this morning, John.. and my field team is telling me that nearly 27,000 voters are being mailed a ballot right now!
For comparison, the usual turnout in this district is around 40,000 voters. This is great news! For one, the more people that vote by mail, the less crowded polling places will be on Election Day this June 9th, and the safer everyone will be because of it.
Second, since voters are going to have some time to research their ballot before returning it, we have a window, right now, to reach out to these voters specifically about our progressive forward-thinking vision for DeKalb County.
But I need your help if I’m going to win these early voters. You can help by chipping in $25, $10, or any amount. I don’t need millions, but I will need another $10,000 to send a direct mail piece and a personal phone call to each of these voters.
