Wishes truly do have the power to change kids’ lives. Look no further than 16-year-old Emelia, who used her wish to help childhood cancer patients just like her.

Within two weeks of starting cancer treatment, Emelia had lost her hair. It was very sudden and drastic for her to lose all of her hair in such a short amount of time. But thankfully, she and her family were able to afford a wig for her to wear when she was going through treatment – giving her confidence and a sense of normalcy during a time of uncertainty.

When Emelia learned she would have a wish granted, she decided to create a nonprofit wig charity. She wanted all kids going through chemotherapy to have access to wigs, so they could get the confidence that she got from hers.

Granting a wish as brave and generous as Emelia’s takes a lot of resources, which is why it’s so important to take advantage of match opportunities when they come up. But we can’t unlock this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month match without your help, so please, can we count on you?
