Thanks to this amazing community, Minnesota has seen historic levels of LGBTQ+ representation. We were so proud to ensure that Leigh Finke made history the first out trans person elected to the state legislature, that Erin Maye Quade & Clare Oumou Verbeten became the first Black women and the first out LGBTQ women elected to the Minnesota state Senate, and that Angie Craig won several key elections for her swing seat in the U.S. House. They fought hard to pass pro-LGBTQ+ legislation - and Governor Walz signed their bills into law!
