Next year will be 60 years since President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act into law, ensuring that every American has the right to vote. This was a landmark piece of legislation, but if Republicans like Kevin Kiley have their way, our right to vote could be completely changed before the VRA hits 60.

 

Don’t believe us? Donald Trump said himself that if he wins, “you don’t have to vote again.”

 

With this, plus all of the radical changes they laid out in Project 2025, the MAGA Republicans are planning to overhaul our government in order to cling to power. They know that the majority of Americans don’t agree with their extremist positions, so they’re trying to hide those positions until they get elected, and then they’re going to change everything.   

 

Making it harder to vote, banning abortion nationwide, banning no-fault divorce, keeping trans folks from getting gender-affirming care, and so. much. more. This is what Republicans will do if they win. That’s why we need your help to take back Congress and stop the far-right agenda from going into effect.
