Very big news — President Biden has promised to focus on cleaning up the Supreme Court during his final 5 months.
The corruption at the Supreme Court smells worse than a Pittsburgh construction site port-a-john on a hot summer day.
But it's now one big step closer to getting the deep clean it needs: President Joe Biden just published a serious op-ed in the Washington Post officially declaring his intent to bust out the metaphorical bleach.
President Biden has overseen more Supreme Court nominations as senator, vice president and president than anyone living today. So when he says the current Court reeks of corruption, he knows what he's talking about.
I'm proud to have the president's commitment to restore Americans' faith in our highest court.
Giving the Supreme Court a deep clean isn't a one-person job. Please pitch in $5 or whatever you can afford to fund the movement we're building to get it done.

President Biden is supporting some of the same reforms that I've called for, like:
Establishing term limits. The United States is the only major constitutional democracy that gives lifetime seats to its high court. It would greatly reduce any one president or party's ability to radically reshape the Court — like we saw Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump do in just 4 years.
Creating a binding code of conduct. SCOTUS's current code of ethics is only useful as toilet paper because it has no enforcement mechanism. If Clarence Thomas continues to accept undisclosed gifts from millionaires and billionaires with business before the Court, the only way to actually hold him accountable right now is impeachment. And as a senator, I believe we need more tools in our cleaning kit than that.
Between the connections to January 6th and accepting lavish gifts without disclosing them — it's no wonder the MAGA Supreme Court's popularity with average Americans is in the shitter.
And yeah, I won't lie that thinking about how many 💩 jokes I can make in one email helps temper my anger about the truly brazen, historic corruption we've seen.
But at the end of the day, Americans deserve and need to be able to trust that the highest court in the land serves their interests, not whoever is funding Clarence Thomas's next vaca.
This isn't a 1-day clean up job. This is going to take months if not years — and we need a president, Senate, and House that will get it done. Pitch in $5 to help do just that.
