No one enjoys mowing the lawn in August! Next time you go out to mow, consider what area of your yard you might want to reduce and replace with native plants. Less mowing for you, more habitat for wildlife, and everyone wins!

Plant Nova Natives has some great tips on how to get started, such as focusing on difficult to mow areas of the lawn, carving out areas around your trees or expanding the garden boundaries. Doing it in stages makes it more manageable! Read more here ([link removed]) .
