We’re inviting 80 internet freedom-lovers to join the Fight. Will you be one of them?
John,
I'm guessing your inbox is just as swamped with election emails as mine, so I’ll be brief. And don’t worry–this isn’t one of them.
With the U.S. election season ramping up, our small team is fighting an uphill battle to keep privacy and internet freedom on the agenda. We want to dedicate less time to competing with election fundraisingand more time on our urgent campaigns for digital rights. To do that, we need a team of steady monthly supporters we can rely on, no matter what happens in November. Will you be one of the 80 people we need to join the fight?
The fight against Big Tech and bad internet bills continues no matter who’s in the White House. But we know there are many important causes to support right now– and we appreciate anything you can spare. As a thank you, everyone who starts a monthly gift of $10 or more through August 16th will get a brand new Fight tote! (featuring possums who love digital security just as much as we do)
Over the next two weeks, you’ll be hearing from fellow team members at Fight about the wins your support has fueled and the battles we’re still facing. We’ll invite you to join our community of over 600 monthly supporters and give you special insight into where your dollars go and just how powerful your support can be.
From the beautiful displays of solidarity against KOSA at Pride parades across the country1 (that helped kill the censorship bill last week!2)...
…to taking the streets from coast to coast to defend free access to digital materials3...
…steady, small dollar donations enable us to be feisty and flexible with our campaigns for digital rights. We quite literally could not do this work without you! We’re looking for just 80 new supporters to join us in the next two weeks to meet our goal and guarantee we can keep fueling our campaigns throughout election season.
Support Fight with a monthly gift, and we promise to keep ourselves busy (and your inbox lighter) as we fight for privacy and digital freedom until and beyond November.
