As soon as they are back in session, we’re demanding Congress take action on animal welfare priorities:
- Ensuring the Farm Bill protects the welfare of farm animals and upholds state laws like California’s Proposition 12.
- The Better CARE for Animals Act to strengthen enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act and protect animals housed in puppy mills, roadside zoos and labs.
- The SAFE Act to end domestic horse slaughter for good and prevent slaughter abroad.
- The Humane Cosmetics Act to ban animal testing for all cosmetic products manufactured or sold in the U.S.
