John, be encouraged this Mother’s Day by the impact you’re making.

Dear John,

My wife and I hope this email finds you well. Especially as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold. As you know, we’re now approaching Mother’s Day. And Kirsten and I wanted to personally encourage and thank you for your support of Human Coalition. You truly model the love of Christ by rescuing children and serving families. In short, you’re a blessing. So thank you, John!

Mother’s Day marks an important day, honoring the women who raised us. In Isaiah 66:13 it says, "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.”

Time and time again Jesus exemplified what it means to comfort, help and give hope to others. When it comes to the issue of abortion, we want to do the same. And even more so now with all the uncertainty around us. We want to love people in a way that mirrors the way Jesus loved people. We want to show kindness the way Jesus showed kindness. This is what it means to be pro-life.

If you and I believe that all human beings are created in God’s image, it means we will speak boldly and courageously about abortion. Yet we will care passionately and continuously for mothers before and after the crisis.

I know you agree that being pro-life is about saving the child and walking alongside the mother. It requires a commitment to life in its entirety. It means together, we must restore women to wholeness so that they can choose life and motherhood.

That is why I love that you have partnered with Human Coalition. Through your support and generosity, YOU are reaching at-risk pregnant women. YOU are rescuing their children from abortion. And YOU are restoring their families to stability. You’re honoring the role of mothers. You are joining the growing movement that is sharing the love of Christ by making abortion unthinkable and unavailable.

So, thank you again for your courage, your compassion, your love, and your willingness to get in the fight. As a part of our encouragement to you today, Kirsten and I want to leave you with the story of Lola.
Lola’s story represents the kind of love I’m talking about. A love that reaches, rescues, and restores, the love of Christ. The love you share so generously with mothers in need! She is a testimony of the way YOU are transforming lives.
