Here’s some of what you should know about Gov. Walz:

• He’s a former teacher and state champion high school football coach. 
• He represented Minnesota’s moderate 1st District in the House. 
• He’s a veteran who retired from the Army National Guard as a command sergeant major, making him the highest-ranking enlisted soldier to serve in Congress. 
• He ice fishes and hunts and can speak to rural Americans in a way that Donald Trump can’t.
• As governor, Tim oversaw the passage of free school meals for kids, abortion protections, and paid family and medical leave.

Considering Vice President Harris has also overseen major legislative wins -- like the biggest climate bill in U.S. history -- we should be excited, especially about all of the cool things we can get done if we win the White House, Senate, and House this November.
