Friends, we just came off some of the strongest fundraising days of our entire campaign.

After our primary election, after our July end-of-month fundraising deadline, things were going great.

We made plans based on the fundraising levels we were at last week — media plans, outreach, organizing, you name it. Things we need to do to win this race, critical strategic programs. But since then, we’ve raised less and less every single day.

Just look at this chart of the last seven days of our fundraising:

That big, tall bar on the left is July 31st, our deadline. That little tiny bar on the right is yesterday. We’ve fallen off a cliff, and things are not looking good. If we don’t turn it around it could be a disaster for Ruben’s campaign and our chances at holding control in the U.S. Senate.

Now, we’re not writing this to scare you. And the good news is we have plenty of time to turn this around. But we’re hoping that by being honest, by showing you exactly how far we’ve fallen over the last seven days, you’ll understand how important your support is.

We’re hoping that you’ll help Ruben out, because we really need you right now.

So, please:

Can you chip in ANYTHING at all and help us get back on track? August needs to be the biggest fundraising month of the entire campaign so far if we’re going to stay on track to our goals and take back Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat. Please, we would not ask if this were not so important.
