The training will help you answer questions like, “Should I run for office?” and “What does it take to run a successful campaign?” You’ll also learn how to connect your interests and passion to an elected position, what it takes to build a path to run & to build your base, and how to prepare yourself to be a candidate.

Emerge was created out of Kamala Harris’ original run for District Attorney in 2001 and has grown to become a national movement with more than 6,000 alums and 1,200 women in elected office, including VP Harris–the original Emerge woman. In fact, the Vice President has recruited and mentored dozens of women to go through Emerge’s programs, many of whom are successful elected officials today!
