We know we've been reaching out a lot lately, and that we're probably not the only ones.

If your inbox looks anything like ours do, it's probably filled with emails from campaigns and organizations asking for your support. Fundraising deadlines, new polls, breaking news around the clock…

We know it can all get overwhelming at times. Which is why our hope is that you don't take Ilhan and our team's emails as annoyance, but a sign of just how important grassroots support is to our progressive movement.

That's because the truth is, all the emails and text messages we send drive the overwhelming majority — over 94% — of donations to this campaign. So we admit, we send a lot of them, and that's why.

You see, Ilhan doesn't fund her campaigns the same way a lot of people in Congress fund theirs.

She isn't spending the last 6 days of this primary at black tie fundraising dinners.

She's not begging for maxout checks from corporate lobbyists, either.

Instead, Ilhan's on the ground in Minnesota's 5th district, knocking on doors, rallying our movement, and having real conversations with her constituents about the issues that matter most.

Ilhan's able to do that because she knows all of us have her back when it matters most. So from time to time, we have to ask:
