DC JWJ invites you to join #ShutdownDC in an action of solidarity with essential workers.
Climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic are both global crises, but here in Washington, DC the effects are very local. And while both of these crises impact everyone, they do not impact everyone equally.
On April 27 at 2pm, #ShutdownDC is holding a moving protest with cars and bicycles to celebrate the front line workers who are keeping us safe during the pandemic and confront the politicians and corporate executives that are putting our communities at risk.
