Earlier this week, Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward fired off a tweet suggesting that health care workers protesting in support of Gov. Doug Ducey and state and federal public health experts' social distancing recommendations are "actors".

Ward's remark is not only nonsensical but offensive to the health care workers across Arizona who have been working tirelessly to take care of our most vulnerable and individuals afflicted with COVID-19. The people on the frontlines are heroes who deserve our total and complete gratitude. At the Arizona Democratic Party, we stand by our health care workers and all frontline workers today and every day.
