John,

The COVID-19 pandemic has touched so many businesses and industries, and the United States Postal Service (USPS) is no different.

Deemed as essential workers, postal workers are still being asked to brave the outdoors and risk their health delivering mail across the country. Their role is even more important as people rely on USPS services to connect with family, get prescriptions, and cast ballots in the age of social distancing.

But despite their continued hard work, the USPS is suffering. Mail volume has decreased overall because of coronavirus, depriving them of a critical source of revenue. On top of that, the federal government is refusing to give them any aid – with the Trump administration going so far as to threaten to veto any legislation that includes USPS funding.

Without help or intervention, the USPS will struggle to survive, which is why we have to speak out in favor of protecting their essential services.

The USPS is more important than ever because of this pandemic. Add your name to our petition if you agree they should get the funding they need to stay afloat →

SIGN ON: SAVE THE USPS

The USPS is an American institution, with roots tracing back to our nation’s founding. Letting them continue to decline would be a catastrophic mistake by our federal government, and would impact every single American.

In times like this, we need our federal government to step up and protect essential services, not tear them down.

If you agree that the postal service's critical services should remain intact, add your name to demand the federal government give them the funding they require.

Thanks for speaking out,

-- Team Cartwright
