MJ: Tim Walz Has a Stellar Record on Voting Rights [[link removed]]
Today is the 59th anniversary of the Voting Rights act of 1965 , John. It's fitting that today the Governor who signed Minnesota's new Voting Rights Act into law earlier this year became a candidate for Vice President of the United States.
Minnesota is a state that has long lead the fight for voting rights -- pioneering things we still fight for nationwide, like same-day registration on Election Day. Gov. Walz has signed new law after new law, guaranteeing voters access to the ballot and expanding the way voters cast their ballot in our elections, working to make every voice heard.
The Harris-Walz ticket's pro-voter, pro-democracy, and pro-election positions couldn't be clearer. Now it's up to groups like ours to make sure every voter is informed about what's at stake in this upcoming election and which candidates are in favor of voting rights while others may want to restrict our right to vote.
Pitch in $25 or whatever you can today to help register, educate, and turn out as many pro-voting rights voters as possible this November >> [[link removed]]

Gov. Walz's mission echoes ours: “ We know that the more people vote, the more representative our state government can be ”. He said this while signing Minnesota's Democracy for the People Act , continuing on with " This bill will strengthen our democracy, allow future voters to get engaged early, and keep our campaigns honest and fair. ”
In fact, the Harris-Walz duo may be the most pro-voting rights ticket we've seen in recent history. Voters deserve to know where every candidate stands on policies and initiatives related to voting, given the rhetoric we've seen the last few years.
We need to amplify that message. There's little time left before voting begins, so we've already begun educating voters across the country about the consequences of this election and which candidates stand up for ballot access and the right to vote.
Your $25 -- or however much you can give -- makes it possible for us to inform voters, work to increase voter participation, help register new voters, and make every vote count across the country. Please join us today >> [[link removed]]
