Vice
President Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her
running mate today.
As a former public school teacher, Governor Tim Walz never forgets the
people. He fights for every worker and family who calls this country home,
and I know he will be a strong advocate for our educators, labor unions,
young people, and the communities that are essential to building the
coalition we need to win in November.
As governor, he has been an effective champion for paid leave,
reproductive freedom, and free school lunches. He knows that we can
advance meaningful policies to change people’s lives for the better. I
cannot wait to call him Mr. Vice President.
The momentum is strong, but we need to translate this excitement to
tangible resources so we can campaign and win. [ [link removed] ]I’ll be hitting the
campaign trail for Vice President Harris and Governor Walz and making the
case for the progressive agenda our movement is fighting for — will you
split a donation between the Harris/Walz campaign and my re-election
campaign today to help us get things done for working people?

The energy on the campaign trail is palpable and I am eager to continue
meeting voters where they are and talk about why the Harris/Walz ticket is
the clear choice to protect our fundamental freedoms and move the country
forward.
Let's go!
Onward,
Ayanna
