The day we have all worked so hard for is here: the Missouri Primary!

Since I first ran for Congress in 2018, I’ve known I would face hardships. I knew it would be tough, and I’d be up against some fierce opponents who don’t like to see Black women win.

That has all proven to be true.

I also knew that our coalition, our movement, would come together and support one another as it has time and time again. You see, in 2020, I defeated a 52-year political dynasty; and in 2022, St. Louis sent me back to Congress with a strong mandate to champion racial, economic, reproductive, gender, health, and environmental justice. And I did just that.

But now, I need your help. Today is critical. Right-wing billionaires have thrown their weight behind my opponent Wesley Bell, using him as a Trojan horse in their attempt to oust our progressive movement from Congress. They ousted my brother-in-service, Jamaal Bowman, and they are ruthless—going after me and my fellow progressive members in Congress who have made it clear that we won’t back down or cave in.
