Tim Walz is an outstanding guy. He fights for real progress and gives voice to those who are too often left out of political discussions — like rural voters in small towns facing rising costs and expensive healthcare.

As I told NBC last week, Tim is highly capable of reaching out to and connecting with the voters in small towns and rural places in the Midwest. Those are the voters that Democrats need to do better with — we need to demonstrate that we understand what’s going on in their lives and that we’re committed to putting in the leg work to make their lives better.
