Folks, today marks one year since Joe Biden launched his campaign to fight for the soul of this nation.

As you may have seen over the past few weeks, we have asked you to nominate some heroes in your community that have really stepped up over the last month in the face of this pandemic. Whether it was a family member, a neighbor, or a local elected official, we wanted to hear about them.

Below are some of the stories Team Joe shared as part of our Nominate A Hero project. We're so grateful to every person who has stepped up to help our communities during this time of crisis, and we want to offer our immense gratitude for their heroism.

Will you read these stories, and then join us in saying thank you by signing our card to these American heroes?

"My wife Georgie and two of her friends started a fundraising page that supports a number of hospital workers in Westchester County, NY. It connects local restaurants with the hospitals as well as the local taxi service. They have raised north of $70k that the hospital workers can use to order meals for the front line workers. They have had two newspaper articles written about this initiative."

--Ron from New York

"My kids made 40 Easter baskets to give to kids since parents might not have the finances to get them anything. My son has autism and he loves to sort so this was a great project for him. They wanted to make other kids smile and take a little pressure off of their parents, so they put out a challenge to their friends to do the same."

--Tanesha from North Carolina

"Jan is a produce clerk in Louisville. She puts her life on the line every day at one of the largest customer count grocery stores in the state. Always friendly and a hard worker. I see her many posts on Facebook with pictures of her friends with which she works. Generous in spirit, with a living soul, she is my heroine in these trying and dangerous times!"

--Peter from Kentucky

"My sister Tabitha is a mom to two little boys and volunteered to deploy to the Javits Center in NYC this week to help treat COVID-19 patients."

--Ryan from Wisconsin

Friends, this is what real heroism looks like, and we owe everything to the kindness, compassion, and generosity they've shown in our greatest hour of need.

Will you join us in showing our appreciation for these folks and all of the people who are doing the work to see us through this crisis? Add your name to our card now to say thanks >>
