*LCB Board Action: Cannabis Rulemaking - Proposed Rules for the Social Equity in Cannabis Program*

On July 31, 2024, during its regularly scheduled meeting the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following cannabis-related action:

*Social Equity in Cannabis Program: Proposed rules filed – Public comment period now open*

The Board approved a rule proposal (CR 102) to amend WAC 314-55-570 [ [link removed] ] to modify the existing Social Equity in Cannabis Program rules to implement Engrossed Second Substitute Senate Bill (E2SSB) 5080, related to expanding and improving the Social Equity in Cannabis Program.
