I’m excited that Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that Minnesota
Governor Tim Walz will be her running mate for Vice President!
As Governor, Walz has been a champion for progressive policies while
supporting working families. Under his leadership, Minnesota:
—Implemented the largest tax cut in state history
—Codified reproductive rights
—Lowered insulin costs to $35 per month
—Passed red flag laws for gun safety
—Banned conversion therapy
—Created a state-run paid and sick leave program
—Got rid of junk fees
—Passed universal school meals (see below)
He’s got the right stuff to be the next Vice President alongside Kamala
Harris.
Friend, I’m more fired up than ever.
As my longtime supporters, you know that this election will determine our
future. Do we take bold new action to combat climate change, or will we
allow Big Oil and Gas to profit off pollution? Will we fight to pass
national reproductive rights protections, or will we risk a national
abortion ban? Will we expand access to health care and lower prescription
drug costs, or will we allow Big Pharma to raise prices on medications to
new heights?
Donald Trump is an existential threat to our country and our democracy. We
must do everything possible to defeat him and elect the Harris-Walz ticket
