Paid for by Mikie Sherrill

Hey folks, this is Mikie. Michigan’s primary election is today and my friend Elissa Slotkin needs our support. Please take a moment to read her message below and split a donation between our campaigns, if you can.

I am sure you didn't wake up on this lovely Tuesday morning, spring out of bed and scream, "Today is the day I am going to donate to Elissa Slotkin to hold Michigan's Senate seat for Democrats!"

But I am emailing in the hope that you will consider contributing today anyway. Here’s why:

Michigan's primary is today.

This is the date that's been circled on our calendars since we launched last year. And it means we have 90 days left to sprint to the general election.

It is impossible to overstate the importance of entering the general election as strong as possible.

Michigan is going to be one of the closest, most competitive and expensive Senate races in the country this year. Recent polling shows a dead-heat in both the Senate and the Presidential races, which means we have two competitive elections to win.

Donations a month or two from now – when we’re in the home stretch of the sprint – are important. But to be frank, donations now, as we recently entered the 100 day window for the general election, are even more important. Because they allow us to execute a strategic plan for the general election that we've been preparing for months, rather than cobbling together a plan as donations come in piecemeal.

If holding the Senate for Democrats in this critical swing state is worth $10 to you, that is the donation I am asking you to split between Mikie and my U.S. Senate campaign today. I would not ask if I didn’t have a plan to use those resources TO WIN.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you again for your continued support,

Elissa
