Earlier today, Kamala Harris announced that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will join her ticket as Vice President!

Before he became governor, Tim Walz represented the Minnesota congressional district I had previously worked in as an organizer on Senator Paul Wellstone’s campaign.

And he knows, as I do, that like Paul Wellstone used to say – “We all do better when we all do better.” Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are proven leaders, and I know Marylanders and all Americans will thrive under their leadership.

Governor Walz has been an incredible advocate for Minnesotans. Over the last few years, he has worked to lower prescription drug costs, protect reproductive healthcare, implement paid family and sick leave, and so much more.
