Indivisibles,

Leah and Ezra here. We’re sending you this email today because our
movement is facing a critical moment, and we wanted to talk to you
directly about what comes next in our fight to defeat the Trump agenda --
defeating Trump in November.

A year ago today, we launched the [ [link removed] ]Indivisible Pledge, which was a
commitment to make the Democratic primary constructive, rally behind the
winner, and do the work to beat Trump in the general election. Indivisible
leaders from every state and every major Democratic candidate for
president signed the Pledge. And we’re glad to see you signed it last year
as well, Thank You!

We believe it’s time to demonstrate our commitment through a national
Indivisible endorsement, voted on by Indivisibles across the movement. And
we’re asking you to vote yes. [ [link removed] ]Click here to cast your vote on whether
Indivisible should move forward with endorsing Vice President Joe Biden
for United States President.

American democracy cannot survive another four years of Donald Trump. But
this year is about more than his defeat -- it’s about paving the way for a
transformative vision for the future of our country, including defending
our democracy, safeguarding our access to the vote, enacting vital reforms
to our health care system, taking on the crisis of climate change, and
ensuring equity and justice for the most marginalized members of our
communities. None of this will be possible if Trump wins reelection.

After many months of campaigning, debating, and voting, we now have our
Democratic candidate, Vice President Joe Biden. Biden wasn’t the top
choice in the primary for many in the Indivisible movement -- including us
personally -- but the primary is now over and he will be the Democratic
nominee, so we’re going to make sure he wins.

Under a Biden administration, we know that we will be able to advance many
progressive priorities. We can organize to win progressive legislative
victories -- on democracy reform, on immigration, on climate change, and
more -- next year, but only if we first organize to elect Vice President
Joe Biden this year. Just like Senator Sanders and Senator Warren did
earlier this month, we believe it’s time for Indivisible to turn our focus
to the last part of the Pledge: doing the work to make Donald Trump a
one-term president.

Indivisible is a people-powered movement. An endorsement is about saying,
with the full voice of the movement, that we stand behind the Democratic
nominee. That’s why the two of us are writing to you to recommend that the
Indivisible movement move forward to endorse Joe Biden -- and we’re asking
you to cast your vote to do just that.

The voting period will close on Sunday, May 3rd at 11:59 pm ET. We will
then analyze the submissions and send a follow-up email announcing the
results. If at least 60% of the votes cast are in favor of endorsing, we
will endorse.

The challenges we’re currently facing are immense, and we’re ready to get
to work addressing them. No matter what the future holds, we’re honored to
be in this fight alongside you. We’re ready to press onward to November
(and beyond) to keep fighting for what we always have: putting power back
in the hands of the people.

In solidarity,
Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin
Co-Founders and Co-Executive Directors, Indivisible
