A short while ago, Kamala Harris picked my friend, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, to be her running mate in the presidential election.

It's a brilliant choice.

Tim Walz is about doing the right thing. Whether it’s free school meals or standing up against gun violence — he’s never been intimidated. He’s about honor and decency, and is exactly the right pick in a campaign about daylight vs. darkness.

But to state the obvious, we all have a role to play in helping elect Kamala, Tim and Democrats across the country.
