Welcome to our first edition of Take Action Tuesday, where we empower you with opportunities to drive meaningful change on the issues that matter most. Throughout this series, we’ll share opportunities for action, from advocating for better policies to supporting our community in meaningful ways. This month’s focus: Voter Registration.
As we approach the November elections, now less than 100 days away, it's time to ensure that our voices are ready to be heard loud and clear.
Voting isn’t the only tool we have for change, but it is one of the most powerful. And it begins with making sure you're registered and ready to vote.
Even if you think you're registered, there are important reasons to double-check your status:
Moved Recently? Your registration needs to reflect your current address.
Changed Your Name? In some states it’s important to make sure your registration matches your current ID.
New Voter? If you've recently turned 18, it's your time to make a difference!
It’s quick and easy to verify your voter registration: just visit our Voter Hub!
Once you are sure your voter registration is set, encourage others to check their registration. Know someone who’s recently turned 18 or moved? Reach out to them and encourage them to check their voter registration status.
Thanks for all that you do,
Care Team
National Domestic Workers Alliance
National Domestic Workers Alliance does not endorse, support or oppose candidates for public office.
Thank you for being a dedicated supporter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance!
We're working day and night to win respect, recognition, and labor rights and protections for the more than 2.5 million nannies, house cleaners, and homecare workers.
The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.
Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
