The top of the ticket is solidified: Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. 

And friend, I couldn't be more excited. It's truly a testament to the American Dream that a former high school social studies teacher who served over two decades in the National Guard could become a candidate for Vice President of the United States.

I will do everything I can to help get the Harris-Walz ticket into the White House — and deliver them a strong Democratic Senate majority.

And their pathway to victory runs straight through Florida, where our working families are eager for new leaders who will fight for our freedoms and opportunities. Despite what the pundits and the GOP would have you believe, Florida is not a red state. Multiple polls have me in a statistical TIE with my extremist opponent, Sen. Rick Scott. That's on top of enthusiasm for Kamala Harris SKYROCKETING, and the momentum will only continue with Tim Walz on the ticket.
