Dear Friends and Supporters,
Congressman Chip Roy wanted to provide a brief update on a couple issues he is working on in Washington D.C.
SAVE ACT
The House has passed Congressman Roy’s bill, the SAVE Act, which prevents illegal aliens from registering and voting in federal elections. The bill received support from 216 Republicans and 5 Democrats.
Unfortunately, Senate Democrats and the Biden Administration are currently blocking the bill from receiving a vote in the Senate. The only reason: they want to allow non-citizens to vote in our elections!
Congressman Roy will continue to lead the fight to secure our elections and will advocate for attaching the SAVE Act to any funding bills that come out of the House.
