Women are disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis. Make an urgent donation today and your gift will be MATCHED. [[link removed]]

Dear John,

That women and people of color in low-paid jobs are treated unfairly, exploited, and denied basic worker protections is sadly nothing new. But the COVID-19 crisis has put a magnifying glass on exactly what that means for millions of vulnerable people working in the United States.

Right now, women are overrepresented on the front lines of the pandemic — working in child care, health care, grocery stores, and more. These are jobs that often offer no paid sick leave, no health insurance, and no hazard pay as COVID-19 continues to spread.

We need immediate relief for these workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and big changes to give women and people of color the security, wages, and benefits they deserve.

Until midnight tomorrow, your donation today will be MATCHED by a generous supporter to double your impact in our fight for women on the front lines. Make a gift before the deadline to support
NWLC’s work on behalf of women and families affected by the COVID-19 crisis. [[link removed]]

Your donation will help fuel our work advocating for women in low-paid jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond by:

Demanding Congress ensure that emergency cash assistance gets to the women and families who need it the most -- many of whom were left out of the first round of payments.

Fighting for significant investments in child care funding to help providers and families.

Advocating for stronger, more inclusive unemployment protections.

Pushing to expand paid sick days and paid family and medical leave in the next round of coronavirus relief legislation.

Make your gift now to support our critical work to protect women in low-paying jobs on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis by midnight tomorrow. Your gift will be MATCHED to make twice the impact. [[link removed]]
