John–

While we social distance and do what we can to ensure our safety, we want
to make sure that we stay engaged. Gun violence continues across the
country, and in some cases, COVID-19 has introduced new risks into the gun
violence crisis.

That's why I'm excited to announce our new virtual series: "Demanding
Women: Quarantine Conversations About Gun Violence."

[ [link removed] ]RSVP now for Tuesday's conversation with Stacey Abrams, founder of Fair
Fight and Fair Count, and former Georgia Representative and gubernatorial
candidate.

For decades, women have been at the forefront of social justice and public
safety issues, and this moment is no different. Over the course of our new
series, I'll be speaking with leading women in American politics on how to
demand a better, safer world for every person in the United States.

My first conversation will be with Stacey Abrams on Tuesday, April 28 at
12 p.m. EDT. We'll be joined by John Yang, president and executive
director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice. Together, we'll discuss the
disproportionate impact of gun violence and coronavirus on Black and brown
communities and rising hate and racism experienced by the Asian American
and Pacific Islander communities during the pandemic.

The series will be livestreamed on Facebook and Twitter. [ [link removed] ]RSVP now for

I hope you can join us

John, thank you for being a part of this movement. Be well and
stay safe.
