?Thanks to the vision and hard work of community leaders and stakeholders, including my former colleagues on the Snohomish County Council, Narbeck has served as a relaxing and accessible place for residents and visitors to enjoy and wildlife to thrive in. I look forward to continuing to work with members of the community to invest in and build a cleaner, greener, safer and more accessible Snohomish County.?
Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary provides a passive recreational opportunity for thousands of people who live and work in the area. There are two walking trails, a small loop trail and a 1.5- mile interpretative trail around the perimeter, with educational signs and self-guided tours.

Phase 1 of the General Aviation East Apron and Taxiway F Rehabilitation project is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 12, 2024 and expected to last for approximately 40 days. This project will improve the surfaces, fencing and access control of the East Ramp.
Phase 1 will close the highlighted section labeled ?Work Area D? (highlighted in yellow in the below graphic), including the northern half of the East tie-downs and a section of Taxiway Foxtrot between F2 and F3. Any aircraft or vehicles parked in this area will need to be relocated.
Additionally, for a three-day period sometime between August 12th and the end of Phase 1, the highlighted section of Taxiway Foxtrot labeled ?Work Area A? ?between F3 and F5 will be closed for complete asphalt replacement. This will be a hard closure with no PPR (prior permission required). East Condos C-18, C-17 and southern-facing C-16 will be inaccessible to and from the movement areas until the affected section of Foxtrot reopens. Once a firm date for this closure has been established, another notice will be issued.
If you have any questions or concerns about how this construction may affect you, please send an email to [email protected] including your name and hangar or tie-down number. Thank you for your patience and collaboration as we work to improve Paine Field Airport.
In an effort to increase pilot safety Paine Field now prohibits aircraft making intersection departures when the Air Traffic Control Tower is closed.? This is intended to reduce the likelihood of an aircraft departing from an intersection while another aircraft is landing or taking off.? Pilots, we appreciate your vigilance to maintain your situational awareness.
The annual inspections of County-owned hangars is currently in progress. During these inspections, our Paine Field Operations team is diligently checking several areas of compliance including: improper storage of planes or materials, unapproved modifications to the hangar, unapproved uses of the hangar, or unapproved uses of hazardous electrical devices.
A copy of the hangar inspection is left in the hangar in the plastic sleeve attached to the side wall of each hangar. We encourage all tenants to review the inspection and follow the instructions listed if an issue is discovered.. If you have questions, please call Operations at 425-388-5112.
Thank you to the City of Mukilteo for inviting Paine Field to display some of the cool equipment we use to maintain the Airport of Choice. Our Maintenance team enjoyed connecting with our incredible community and sharing those special moments. We can't wait for next year's event!
